HALLOWEEN

HALLOWEEN! This image a combination of my original photograph of a ramshackle Victorian mansion and some Photoshop work to make the picture even more spooky.

MEL -

Good pic, it is moody and shows the power of B&W as an art form. I subbed for an arts teacher at HRA in Newport News, and got to see the students working on Photoshop projects. They were very talented, and Photopshop has advanced a lot since I first learned in the mid 90s - especially the Layers concept.

PS: Dona and I hope to visit you before too long, things have just come up before. We've already had a ball during Halloween season, we'll let you know more. My costume was a scream!

- Regards,

Neil

Dear MEL:

I'm waiting for Neil to finish watching the news, and I used this time to look at your art on this blog. To me the only thing they have in common is a deep sense of calm. Maybe you value that the most.
Take care,
Dona
